Report your Opal card lost or stolen
If your card is lost or stolen and it is registered:
- Log in to Report your card as lost or stolen or by calling 13 67 25 (13 OPAL).
- Your card will be blocked from the time that you report it - this means that the card will no longer be able to be used and the balance of your card is protected.
- Order a new Opal card or just transfer the balance of your registered lost card to another registered card you may hold which is also linked to your Opal profile.
If a card is reported lost or stolen and it is found, it cannot be reused. A new card will be mailed to you and may take five to seven working days.
