Concession travel now easier for Queensland and Tasmanian seniors

Travel on concession fares in the NSW Opal network is now a whole lot easier for seniors from Queensland and Tasmania.

Queensland and Tasmanian authorities have been working with NSW to enable their seniors to be able to get a Gold

Senior/Pensioner Opal card that does not expire, as long as they remain eligible. This is in addition to ACT seniors who already

have access to Gold Opal cards that don't expire.

To be eligible, seniors must hold a valid Seniors Card issued by the ACT, Queensland or Tasmanian Government.
